UniCredit Bank Austria launches "The Art of Finance" video series on sustainable corporate management
Under the title "The Art of Finance", UniCredit Bank Austria is launching a video series for its corporate customers which offers comprehensive guidance on the topic of sustainability. The three episodes of the interview series "The Art of Finance" were filmed at the Bank Austria Kunstforum at Vienna's Freyung. In each individual video, a suitable work of art that addresses social responsibility is also included in the discussion of issues relevant to the companies.
The choice of location was no coincidence, as Günter Schubert, UniCredit Bank Austria's Board Member for Corporates, explains: "The link between modern corporate management and art lies in creativity, without neither the one nor the other is possible. As a strategic financial partner, UniCredit Bank Austria supports companies in developing and realising their sustainability strategy - from the analysis of the current situation to suitable financing solutions."
The video series focuses on the growing importance of so-called ESG criteria: E stands for "Environmental", i.e. environmentally and climate-friendly investments, S for "Social", which encompasses responsibility towards society and one's own employees. G for "Governance" means sustainable and transparent corporate management.
The art of modern business management
The first video looks at how companies can create the right framework conditions and align their business areas with sustainability. The topic of the second video is what a consistent sustainability strategy should look like. The third video presents the Sustainability Barometer, an innovative tool of UniCredit Bank Austria for ESG assessment: companies receive impulses for a comprehensive strategy on how to implement modern and sustainable corporate governance. With this offer, the bank is playing a pioneering role in the financial sector, as ESG is gradually gaining importance, especially in the area of financing. UniCredit Bank Austria also supports companies on their way to more sustainability, for example, with a new form of financing. The sustainability loan offers medium-sized companies a favourable form of financing that is geared to the company's individual sustainability strategy.
