Philipp Gamauf appointed new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of UniCredit Bank Austria

  • Philipp Gamauf, previously Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of UniCredit Bank Romania, is appointed new Chief Financial Officer in the Management Board of UniCredit Bank Austria as of 1 March 2022

The Supervisory Board of UniCredit Bank Austria has appointed the Austrian Philipp Gamauf, 39, currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of UniCredit Bank Romania, as the new Chief Financial Officer of UniCredit Bank Austria as of 1 March 2022. In this position, he succeeds Gregor Hofstätter-Pobst, who has decided to take up a new challenge outside UniCredit Group.

Philipp Gamauf started his career at UniCredit in 2005 in the Planning and Controlling department and quickly assumed highly responsible management positions in Global Markets & Investment Banking in Munich from 2007, in Financing & Advisory in Milan from 2009 and as Head of CEE Segment Controlling in Vienna from 2011 to 2014. Until 2016, he was Head of Regulatory Reporting Austria and CEE in Vienna and subsequently Global Markets Divisional Financial Officer in Munich, Milan and London until August 2017. Since then, he has been CFO and Member of the Management Board of UniCredit Bank in Romania until today. Philipp Gamauf graduated from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration with a focus on strategic management.
