Zero Project Conference 2022 from 23 to 25 February at UN City Vienna
UniCredit Bank Austria CEO Robert Zadrazil: “We have been pioneers on the way to an inclusive and barrier-free society for many years”

  • Zero Project Conference is the world's largest conference on inclusion and accessibility
  • This year's focus is on accessibility – keynote speakers and contributors from more than 50 countries will present virtually and on-site in Vienna
  • UniCredit Bank Austria has supported the Zero Project from the very beginning and, as a sponsoring partner of the conference, is in charge of the “Financial Inclusion Award 2022”

“We have been a partner of Martin Essl, the initiator of ‘Zero Project’, from the very beginning and support internationally active organisations such as ‘The Valuable 500’. As a company, we have been pioneers on the way to an inclusive and barrier-free society for many years,” emphasises Robert Zadrazil, CEO of UniCredit Bank Austria.

Zadrazil, referring to the Zero Project Conference 2022, the world's largest conference on inclusion and accessibility, which starts on Wednesday: “Accessibility is a topic where you can always learn something new – especially from best practices, innovations and strategies of other stakeholders. From this point of view, the annual Zero Project Conference also has a very practical benefit for all participating organisations and companies. As a sponsoring partner of the conference, we are particularly looking forward to presenting the ‘Financial Inclusion Award 2022’ on Thursday.”

Unique in Austria: InclusionLoan for people with disabilities
With its commitment to inclusion and accessibility, UniCredit Bank Austria aims to enable people with disabilities in particular to participate more easily in everyday life and especially in working life. With the InclusionLoan, the bank offers a special consumer loan at particularly attractive conditions for important purchases such as intelligent visual aids, guide dogs for the blind or for the barrier-free (re)design of a home, as part of its Social Impact Banking initiative. This offer applies to all people with a registered degree of disability of 50 percent or more as well as to holders of an identity card of the Hilfsgemeinschaft der Blinden und Sehschwachen Österreichs (Association of Blind and Visually Impaired Persons in Austria).

Extensive commitment to accessibility and inclusion
UniCredit Bank Austria is recognised in Austria and throughout continental Europe as a leading financial institution in the areas of accessibility and inclusion. People with disabilities are an important customer group for the bank and at the same time a valuable source of talent and qualifications. The company has therefore been committed to comprehensive accessibility and inclusion for many years – far beyond barrier-free branches and inclusive workplaces.
