UniCredit Bank Austria Top Employer in Austria again in 2023
- UniCredit Group Top Employer Europe for seventh consecutive year in 2023
- Certified Top Employer in Austria and in five other countries: Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Italy and Serbia
For the seventh consecutive year, UniCredit has been officially recognised by the Top Employers Institute for its exceptional employee conditions, reconfirming UniCredit's status as an attractive employer. Being certified as a Top Employer showcases an organisation’s dedication to a better world of work and exhibits this through excellent HR policies and people practices.
In Austria, too, UniCredit Bank Austria has again been awarded the coveted Top Employer certification. UniCredit received its certification as Top Employer Europe by virtue of its country-specific certifications, which alongside Austria included the banks in Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Italy and Serbia1.
The Top Employers Institute programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey. This survey covers six HR domains consisting of 20 topics including People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Wellbeing and more.
Siobhan McDonagh, Head of Group People & Culture at UniCredit: “This recognition is of critical importance to us because it attests to our ability to provide our people with all the levers for success. I am very proud that each year we reconfirm our commitment to providing a better working environment for all our people. We are building a strong cultural foundation for our bank by embedding our Values of Integrity, Ownership and Caring in everything we do. We have done a lot, but we will continue to always do more so our people can collectively continue to Win. The Right Way. Together.”
Georgiana Lazar, Member of the Management Board for People & Culture at UniCredit Bank Austria: “The Top Employer award for 2023 is a recognition for our workplace culture that emphasizes inclusion, accountability and flexible working arrangements and development opportunities, but also of the effort we have invested in continuously working to improve our people agenda. Also, we are leveraging on our strong company Culture and values of Integrity, Ownership and Care as the underpinning of everything we do. As we head into a new year, we continue focusing on further improvement of the quality of our working environment and conditions. We are keen to continue on this path and successfully hold our high workplace standards as they are recognized again through the Top Employer Award.”
