Direct debit scheme

Using SEPA Direct Debit Core, products from your online shop can be purchased by customers throughout the entire European Economic Area (EEA), optionally including Switzerland and Monaco.
The prerequisite (for consumers and non-consumers) for the execution of a SEPA direct debit is that a SEPA direct debit mandate is agreed between the Creditor and the Debtor. The contents of this SEPA direct debit mandate are uniformly agreed throughout Europe and form part of the agreement with the Creditor.

The Creditor must archive the SEPA direct debit mandates and transmit the contents electronically with each SEPA direct debit. Information on participating credit institutions in the SEPA direct debit scheme can be found on the website of the European Payments Council.
