10,000 Euro will be awarded to the first three winners per province. Participation is open to charitable initiatives, organizations/NGOs, associations, supporting institutions or even committed individuals from Austria.
Every year, 27 winners from across Austria are awarded and supported by Bank Austria.
Three winners for each federal state
For each federal state, three projects have the opportunity to win:
- the overall winner receives 6,000 Euro,
- second place receives 3,000 Euro,
- third place receives 1,000 Euro.

The selection procedure
Selection of the winning project takes place in 2 stages:
Stage 1
After the end of the tender submission deadline, the jury of experts meets in the respective federal states, considers the submissions, and makes a preliminary selection. Jointly with the national expert jury, the projects for each federal state are finally chosen, with voting possible also via the Internet.
Stage 2
Subsequently, anyone and everyone in each federal state can vote on their favourite via Internet. The result of the online voting is then checked and subsequently published.
Awarding the prize
The winning projects are not only be presented online but are also honoured in the context of public events.
