Euromoney has honored Andrea Orcel, CEO of UniCredit, as the “Banker of the Year” in recognition of his exceptional leadership and the outstanding results achieved by UniCredit in 2023 through the “UniCredit Unlocked” industrial transformation plan.
UniCredit was recognised in a total of 18 categories at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2024, including ‘Best Bank’ in Italy and ‘Best Bank for ESG’ and for SME, as well as ‘Best Bank for ESG’ in Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia and Romania, ‘Best Bank for Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Western Europe’, ‘CEE's Best Bank for Transaction Services’ and ‘CEE's Best Bank for Wealth Management’.
